(CAO) Ho Chi Minh City expects that from now to 2025, it will focus on calling for investment in 3 logistics centers in the Hi-Tech Park; Cat Lai and Linh Trung. In 2021, the bidding will be filled in to call for investment in the Logistics Center of the Hi-Tech Park.
The People's Committee of Ho Chi Minh City has just approved a decision on a Master Plan to develop the logistics industry in the area to 2025, with an orientation to 2030. Accordingly, the city has determined to develop the logistics industry to promote its role as a major distribution center for goods. It is the most important import-export gateway in the South region and the whole country.

The goal is that by 2025, the growth rate of logistics service revenue of HCMC enterprises will reach 15% and by 2030 reach 20%. By 2025, the proportion of logistics contribution to the city's GRDP will reach 10% and by 2030 will reach 12%.
To achieve the above goals, in the period 2021-2025, the city will focus on calling for investment in 3 logistics centers in Hi-Tech Park, Cat Lai and Linh Trung.
In 2021, the bidding will be filled in to call for investment in the Logistics Center of the Hi-Tech Park; complete preparation for investment in Cat Lai Logistics Center and Linh Trung Logistics Center by 2023.
In addition, 5 other logistics centers in Cu Chi; Long Binh (Thu Duc city); Hiep Phuoc (Nha Be district); Tan Kien (Binh Chanh District) and Logistics Exhibition Center at the 150-hectare land in Tan Hiep commune (Hoc Mon district) are also deployed in the period from 2025-2030.
At the same time, the city will also review the legal basis, concerning the development of more logistics centers in the areas: Phu Dinh port in District 8; Zone D and Zone E belong to the South area of the city, managed by the Management Board of the South Zone.
