Maintain absolute faith to the efforts of Tan Uyen local authority

 22/08/2021

Binh Duong is currently the locality with the highest number of cases per day and is ranked second in the total number of Covid-19 cases in the country with the total number of cases as of the afternoon of August 22 is 70,242. Tan Uyen, Thuan An, Di An and Thu Dau Mot are 4 hot spots in the province.

Recognizing the difficulties that Binh Duong is facing, U&I Logistics has made efforts to assist the local government since this 4th pandemic. Specifically:

  - June 2, 2021: U&I Logistics donated VND 1 billion to the Vaccine Fund and the prevention and control of the Covid-19 pandemic.

  - July 12, 2021: The company implemented the "3 on-site" option for all employees.

  - July 30, 2021: U&I Investment Joint Stock Company (Unigroup) donated 10 high-flow oxygen therapies to Binh Duong General Hospital.

  - August 11, 2021: U&I cooperates with Nam Tan Uyen Industrial Park Joint Stock Company and Phuc Tam Phuc General Clinic Co., Ltd to organize Covid-19 vaccination for all employees who are performing 3T and "1 road - 2 locations” in Nam Tan Uyen Industrial Park

  - August 13, 2021: U&I donated 10,000 SARS-CoV-2 antigen test kits and 15 boxes of medical masks to Tan Uyen town, Binh Duong.

  - August 18, 2021: U&I handed over Warehouse No.10 to Tan Uyen town as a temporary collection center for Covid-19 patients.

In addition, the company organizes quick tests for SARS-CoV-2 for employees regularly and implements policies to support workers in difficult circumstances during the pandemic.

With the above efforts, we hope Binh Duong will quickly overcome this pandemic, building peace and safety to our community.

However, U&I Logistics regrets to receive some information about sad incidents taking place at the temporary collection center in Nam Tan Uyen Industrial Park. We completely understand and share the difficulties that people are facing.

The current situation of the number of suspected infected people during the screening and isolation of F0 in the community is increasing sharply, leading to overcrowding at health facilities and state isolation areas. Therefore, in order to ensure that people have enough room for living and treatment, businesses have voluntarily supported the state in providing infrastructure to make field hospitals and temporary isolation areas. In particular, despite having signed a warehouse supply contract with customers from September 1, U&I decided to delay all business activities to join hands with local authorities to combat the pandemic. U&I has requisitioned the warehouse services so that people can stay while waiting for the results of the RT-PCR test.

However, in the past few days, we have encountered some inadequate information, affecting the image of the company. Despite not being able to intervene in the above rare events, U&I Logistics believes that we can protect ourselves by trusting the efforts of the local government and related health sectors.

To avoid encountering unfortunate incidents, each person should filter information for themselves, identify what is unofficial and insufficiently grounded information to avoid sharing information that stir up public opinion and community.

In particular, when facing difficulties or questions in the isolation area that needs supporting, please contact the Management Board of the isolation area or Tan Uyen War Center by phone number 0889.421.122 or contact the Quick response team in Tan Uyen HERE to get help when needed.

Let each individual raise awareness of disease prevention and control, reduce risk of infection for themselves and the community, and continuously update the pandemic situation through official sources. Only then can we quickly overcome the pandemic and protect ourselves and our families!
